B. Basia Kielczynska, MS, L.Ac.
Basia Kielczynska is a National Board certified acupuncturist and
a practitioner of East Asian medicine. Her acupuncture practice
is very eclectic and draws on many years of experience in a number
of Oriental healing modalities, as well as in Western science research
settings. To her practice of Chinese Classical Acupuncture and Japanese
Acupuncture she adds understanding of the Five Elements tradition
that she gained in her Advanced Shiatsu training and Shiatsu teacher
training as well as the application of Trigger Points in pain management,
which she studied in a post-graduate program in Acupuncture Physical
Medicine. Ms. Kielczynska has also trained in Allergy Elimination
techniques, meditation and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, which she adds
to her acupuncture treatments, if appropriate.
Ms. Kielczynska is especially interested in working with women
to support their health and fertility, and with patients suffering
from chronic illnesses. While working with children she uses techniques
that do not require needling, like gua sha, aromatic oils, acupressure
and allergy clearing. In addition to her clinical practice, Ms.
Kielczynska serves as faculty at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture
and is an active member of the Acupuncture Society of New York and
the National Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance.
