Roberta Anne Lee, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Lee is a board certified internist who received her medical
degree at George Washington University Medical School. She completed
a post-doctoral two year fellowship at the University of Arizona’s
Program in Integrative Medicine directed by Andrew Weil, MD. Dr.
Lee came to the Continuum Center for Health and Healing as the co-director
of the Integrative Medicine Fellowship. Her integrative medical
interests are focused in ethnomedicine. She has an Honorary Research
Fellowship at The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) and is working
with Dr. Michael Balick, Director of the Institute of Economic Botany
at the NYBG, on a project in Micronesia interviewing indigenous
healers and collecting medicinal plants to preserve knowledge of
their uses. She is a regular contributing editor and writes a column
entitled Notes from the Field with her colleague Dr. Balick
in the journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine.
