Nathalie Stern, M.D.
Dr Stern spent much of her professional life in NYC where she trained in Pediatrics at New York Hospital Cornell Medical center but recently moved her pediatric homeopathy practice to the South of France. She is actively involved in teaching and promoting homeopathy both in France and North America and continues to see patients on both continents.
As a pediatrician Dr. Stern finds that homeopathic medicines, which are safe and efficacious, are particularly well suited for the care of children’s common ailments. In her practice Dr. Stern uses homeopathy not only to treat acute problems such as upper respiratory infections and acute ear infections but also to treat more chronic conditions. For children suffering from conditions such as asthma, recurring ear infections, eczema and behavioral problems homeopathy has helped reduce or eliminate daily doses of antibiotics and steroids which are often required for symptomatic control.
With a growing demand for less aggressive treatment in children, Dr. Stern decided to limit her practice to homeopathy 5 years ago while still in practice in NYC. With the lack of qualified physicians trained in homeopathy in the US, Dr. Stern has been working closely with NYC pediatricians to help them better understand homeopathy and teach them basic treatments for common childhood illnesses.
Dr. Stern graduated from the Lille University medical school in France, and completed a residency in pediatrics at the New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center in NYC. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a member of the French Homeopathic Educational Center, and has published articles in parents magazines in the US and Canada.
