Jeff Young, BS, Ex, Phys

Jeff received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University in 1996 and has served as fitness staff member at the Center for Sports Medicine at Penn State and Duke University Medical Center. He is the Founder and President of Transition Health and Fitness, LLC and assisted in creating the fitness component at We Focus on Fitness, which he now manages. Jeff was involved in all aspects of training and testing in the longest strength and conditioning study ever performed and currently oversees the strength and conditioning program for several members of the Women's National Rugby Team. He has lectured on fitness and weight management at The Center for Health and Healing, Duke University Medical Center, the NYPD, and several Manhattan Health Clubs. Jeff has a continuing eleven year relationship with one of the world' s leading strength and conditioning researchers, has over a decade of fitness training experience with populations ranging from sedentary to elite athlete, as well as special populations (pregnant, post-rehab, youth, arthritic, obese, etc), and brings a sound scientific approach to fitness.
