Acupressure/Shiatsu — Practitioner Statement

“Living beings are comprised of a series of interconnected energy pathways and tiny energy points all along those pathways. When any of these pathways become constricted, vital life force energy (ki) is unable to feed the organs and systems of the body and poor health can occur. As the acupressure practitioner I evaluate the condition of the ki energy flow in the receiver’s body and then facilitate the opening of the points and pathways to restore the balanced flow of ki energy throughout the body. Then, either immediately or over time, the innate wisdom of the body reconnects with its underlying pattern of wellness, and health and vitality can be restored. When we have a strong body, an open heart and a fluid mind, we can feel our true self. When we feel our true self we can be of service to others and to the healing of the world.”
