Chiropractic — Practitioner Statement

Dr. Sharon Ufberg comes to the Continuum Center for Health and Healing after practicing Chiropractic for twenty years in Northern California. With a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences, Dr. Ufberg is also a certified exercise rehabilitation doctor specializing in elevating the functional capacity of each individual.

Primarily treating neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, a visit with Dr. Ufberg includes a complete history and examination followed by treatment to include manual manipulation and myofascial therapy as appropriate. With a holistic approach to health and wellness, recommendations about activities of daily living, occupational stress and recreational lifestyle habits are discussed. Teaching the patient a variety of breathing, relaxation and visualization techniques may also be offered. Dr. Ufberg pays special attention to spending individual, face-to-face time listening and speaking with her patients. She has an extensive history working in concert with the medical community as well as other alternative and complementary health care practitioners.

It has always been a dream of mine to work in a truly integrative healthcare setting. I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with such a high caliber group of physicians and complementary practitioners. It is exciting to be a part of a healthcare team that values all avenues to wellness. The advantage to both practitioner and patient is palpable.
